Day 1 of reserve (07/02/2024)
Finally catching up on the last few days. Day 2 of CRJ200 training went well (06/25/2024). Last leg of the trip I landed without a radio altimeter unexpectedly. Officially signed off on all 3 variants of CRJ now.
On the morning drive to the airport (07/01/2024) I saw this cool line of clouds:
Ended up at my domicile airport where I started my illustrious career as reserve pilot (07/01/2024). Just waiting to be called in case some flying popped up.
After arriving the hunt for food led me to a casino. The food was as overpriced as you'd expect.
After food was some casual walking around when I saw this interesting looking water tower:
Actually got called in to work around 8am (07/02/2024) to reposition a plane. Flew with a captain younger than me. Flight went well and I got some new experiences departing out of a MX hangar:
Had a slow start so missed my connecting flight back to my domicile. However, have another direct flight tomorrow morning to get me back where I started.
Flew for 2.7 hours today for a total of around 1142 hours.
