Back at it for the last few days. My 4 day reserve block is filled with flying (07/13/2024)
Completely forgot that I'm going through "consolidation". The reason I'm getting to fly so much on reserve is because I need 100 flight hours within 120 days since I completed my ATP.
Showed up to my domicile airport after an uneventful commute (07/10/2024). Paid for a hotel that had older elevators apparently:
On the hunt for food and crossed many monolithic parking lots:
After wandering around to find lunch I went to a hotel next door for dinner. There was live music in the atrium:
First leg of this block was a one way trip. Had a 17+ hour layover which was nice. (07/11/2024)
Hotel was nice. About a dozen pillows on the bed so wondering if there's a correlation there. Also had a massive pool area:
Wandered around the area and grabbed lunch along with dessert for a change.
Flashback to college days:
Day 2 (07/12/2024) had 3 legs of flying. First extended ground delay. Definitely felt bad for everyone in the back during the 1.5+ hour delay. About as long as the drive would have been for everyone.
Sometimes people leave stickers under the paper holders on the yolks. Nothing this trip:
Made it back to my domicile via deadhead and went on the hunt for food. had thought I found it:
Ended up grabbing a sandwich instead. Next flight is going to be a "stand up". Basically a late night flight to an outstation followed by the first morning flight back. Around 5 hours allotted for rest overnight. Should be fun!
Flew around 7 hours over two days for a total of around 1161 hours.
