Back home for another 1 day off (09/20/2024). Might be able to commmute to my next trip the same day it starts so that'll be nice possibly. 14 legs over three days this last trip. Extremely busy but was managebale with a good crew. Had an APU die twice on two different planes.
The CRJ fleet is a mixed combination of older and "newer" aircraft. The Flight Management System (FMS) we use to program our routes is no different. Older models use mechanical keyboards that have a very nice tactile button-push. However they can miss or duplicate button inputs very easily. Newer FMS hardware uses chiclet buttons that aren't quite as satisfying to push but much more accurate.
Getting to the point where I'm seeing repeat stickers regularly. This was a new one though. Starting to make contact with the sticker bandits when I'm in the break room between flights.
Some nice scenery at an outstation. Farm fields between the taxiways and runways:
Have to have potable water for all that coffee:
Need to start using sun block. These shades do good work but only so much:

What would happen if we parked on the wrong spot?
I don't know what he was doing but that spot was getting a lot of water:
Missing a static wick. Plenty left though:
This spider was parked right over an inground light. Living the life:
A hotel window had been shot and the fractured glass made an interesting perspective:
Who said ramp vehicles all had to look the same:
Little FOD box for little FOD:
Another hidden duck in the corner:
Another 15 hours in the books. Around 1,311 hours total.
