Sitting in the hotel waiting for my next trip to start tomorrow. Was awarded a new domicile where I'm closer to 50% seniority as an FO so that's nice. Won't start for a bit though. (09/28/2024)

Wandering around a strip mall neighborhood at night. Eery feeling:
Bird strike woes. Accepted a plane tat had a bird strike on approach. Had to call contract maintenance to return the plane to service since we were at an outstation. Maintenance guy inspected the engines and all the flight surfaces including slats and flaps. Turns out there were multiple strikes that were either unreported or had not been noticed! I'll be more vigilant moving forward.

Had a deadhead on a CRJ200 and thought row 13 was somewhere in the middle. Nope. Row 13 is next to the lavatory. Non-required memory item from now on.
An elevator opened up as I walked past it. Got on and saw where it went.
Back home. Getting shopping done and noticed some holiday getting out early:

13.7 more hours for a total of around 1,325 hours total. Almost at 250 Part 121 hours!
